Engage Marine Tasmania Awarded Grange Resources Contract in Port Latta
Engage Marine Tasmania Pty Ltd (Engage Marine Tasmania) is pleased to announce it has been awarded a long-term contract by Grange Resources Limited (Grange Resources) to provide marine services at its port facility in Port Latta, Tasmania.
Grange Resources is Australia’ s most experienced magnetite producer with over 50 years of mining and production from its Savage River mine. The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine, which is located 100km southwest of the city of Burnie, is a long-life mining asset scheduled to continue operations beyond 2030. Port Latta is Grange Resources’ wholly owned pellet plant and port facility and it produces approximately two million tonnes of premium quality iron ore pellets annually.
Engage Tasmania commenced operations on 1st July 2018. The marine services delivered by Engage Tasmania will primarily facilitate shipping and loading operations.
